Applique began with a simple idea: clothing should be made for the person wearing it, not the other way around.
We make unstitched, made-to-order appliqué suits; every length of fabric is hand-appliquéd by our artisans after you order, in the color and design you choose. We don't stitch the final garment ourselves; the fabric arrives ready for your own tailor to cut and finish exactly to your measurements.
How Customization Works
Every Applic suit is made to order. Here's how it works:
1. Choose your design
Browse our collection and pick the appliqué design closest to what you're after, available as 2-piece (shirt + shalwar/trouser) or 3-piece (+ dupatta) suits.
2. Pick your color.
Choose from our available colors on the product page. Standard fabric is Bareeze Lawn, from our current Summer Collection, our best-quality default.
3. Add your notes
Want a different fabric or a length longer than our standard 2.5 meters per piece? Use the "Customization notes" field to tell us; these are charged separately, and we'll confirm the price before starting.
4. Pay 50% advance
A 50% advance payment is required before we begin hand-appliqué work on your order.
5. We hand-appliqué it
Our artisans cut and hand-appliqué your suit length by length. Typical turnaround is 2–3 weeks; we'll keep you updated if anything changes.
6. It ships to you unstitched.
Your suit ships unstitched, ready for your own tailor. The remaining 50% balance is collected as cash on delivery when it arrives.
*Because every order is made specifically for you, custom pieces are final sale. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.*
